CLAYHAT This band is sneaky weird. Favorite track: Buttercup.

Art Fin This quirky pop band from Toronto reminds me of Micachu and tUnE-yArDs but less weird. Their EP is good but they are even better live where charismatic singer Jasmyn Burke's personality shines through. They were the best new non-loud band I saw at CMJ 2015. Also check out their 2016 self-titled LP on Buzz/Kanine/Memphis Industries. Favorite track: Motorcycle.
